Carley’s Third Birthday {Snapshots by Heather}

There is nothing I love more than taking photos, especially when I get to take photos of such a sweet girl. I have known Carley since she was in her mommy’s tummy-Her mommy isĀ a co-worker of mine. I have watched her grow up before my eyes. So excited to share some photos from our photo session this past weekend.

Her third birthday will be princess theme, and her mommy bought her such a perfect princess dress!

Her mommy is so talented-she also made this awesome floral “3” and headband.

Brand Rep Post {Serenity Faith_Co}

We LOVE repping for Serenity Faith_Co. I saved these photos from our last shipment with them because I so badly wanted to put her in Gladiator sandals with it….buuuuutttt, I waited to long to try to find some, so we went barefoot! šŸ˜‰

This Vintage Lace Romper can be purchased {Here}. It is so soft, and the details are so perfect. Use the code “SHARE15” for 15% off, you won’t be sorry.

Had to show of some photos of my little sweetheart. I don’t edit her in her pictures-I prefer for her to actually look like she looks in “real” life-so if you look on her right cheek, you can see a bruise where my poor baby face planted on some tile this past weekend at our friends house. #mommyfail

I have also gotten someĀ  negative, downright nasty emails about putting photos of Emmalynn up and I can assure anyone that has doubts-this child LOVES being a brand rep. She RUNNNS to the mailbox and BEGS me to take photos of her. If she wasn’t interested, we most definitely would not be doing this.

Brand Rep Post {Walking Luna}

Receiving something we would wear anyways, is SUCHĀ a bonus when it comes to being a Brand Rep. Waiting for the rain to stop, however, so we can finally show them off is TORTURE!

Emmalynn loooooves getting packages in the mail and really OOH’d and AAH’d over this one.

We LOVE shopping at small shops, especially for great quality clothes that you can’t find in the big box stores.

Walking Luna is that. The details, are omg.

Look at these buttons:

The fabric is so soft, the colors compliment perfectly, and it would look adorable on anyone!

WalkingLuna knocked it out of the park with this one. Follow her on Instagram {Here}, or check out her website {Here}. She has THE cutest Star Wars get-ups.

Motivation for the “Working Mom”

I don’t care if you work part time, full time, every day of the week, a couple days of the week, only during the summers, only during the school year, or your job is solely to stay home and take care of your family…it is all work.

We all have a lot on our plates, and when talking with other moms, I realize how alike we all are. We all feel insignificant at times. There are time we can’t keep up. Times we are being pulled in a million directions. Times when we get in our own heads and second guess everything we are doing.

As a follower of Christ, I find that I am spoken to when it is needed the most. At a time when I am wondering if working away from the home is the right thing. Wondering if keeping my kids enrolled in day school is what is truly best for them. After all, most of my working goes to pay to keep them in school. We get a lesson plan sent home over the holiday to continue what they have learned during the week. They were highlighting Colossians 3:23 which says in whatever you to do, to work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters.

It all hit me at once, right when I needed it the most. I realized that, although it is not ideal for everyone, my family is right where it needs to be. My kids are in a school that teaches them the love of Jesus. I am blessed to have a job that appreciates me, with a boss that walks with Christ, and understands that I am a Mom, and my family comes first.

I encourage you Moms, when you are at work and feeling insignificant, to remember that you are not here to please your boss. You are working from your heart for the Lord. When you feel like you are being tugged and pulled into a million different directions, just remember, the Lord intended for you to be caregiver for your family. You were made for this, and you have him by your side.

Beckett’s Big Boy Room {My Labor Day Project}

Many of you spent time in the sun, on vacation, went to see family, slept in and laid around-which are all things I wanted to do. We had planned on going with my Husband’s mother to Lake Travis, but I told him I reallllllly needed to start tackling some of my to-do lists. We moved into our house on May 5, and nothing has been done. Boxes are still everywhere, its so overwhelming.

So reading around online-one way to tackle this is to do one room at a time. DUH. Why did I have to read this from someone else for it to click with me?

I started with the easiest room first-my sons. I already had an idea of what I wanted to do, so I felt like it was an accomplishable goal.

I am so excited to reveal it!

If you follow me on InstagramĀ {Beemaloveblog}, you may have seen that my son thought he would be a big help, and add some of that red paint onto the wall beside it. Soooo…my project went from painting one wall red, to painting the other 3 walls gray. That baseball rug is also hiding some red paint on the carpet. Gotta love three year olds.

The comforter set is from Targets Pillowfort LineĀ Here

The circle signs on the wall came fromĀ Kirklands

And the Letters above his bed came from Michaels, and they had a lot to choose from. LinkĀ Here

I found this picture at Hobby Lobby and fell in love with it. Beckett has just grown at lightening speeds, and is always trying to do things he is not ready for. I hope when he learns to read, he looks at this every time he walks in his room.

I was so excited to reveal his room to him, and he told me that it was “Totally Awesome”, so that made it all worthwhile.

A letter to my Husband on our Fifth Anniversary

My Dear Husband,

How telling is it that, at this point in our lives, our anniversary has come and I have no card, or gift for you?

I spent my days working, and coming home and tending to the kids, and those days passed rapidly, and this day has quickly crept up on me. But you must know, that it is the furthest from the way I feel about our marriage.

I am so thankful for you. I am so appreciative that I have had the honor of being your wife for the past 5 years. I know that I am not the same person I was when we were first married, yet you still choose me. I know that my appearance is no where near what it used to be, yet you still choose me. I know I devote more time to our kids than I do on you, yet you still choose me.

I couldn’t ask for a better father for our kids, and the way I see you building Thomas the Train track on the floor with the kids, or helping Emmalynn “practice her pageant,” makes my love grow more and more.

The truth is, I love you more at 5 years than I ever thought I could love someone. Thank you for keeping God in our marriage, and instilling His ways into our kids lives. Thank you for never, ever mentioning how different my body looks since our kids. Thank you for being seen with me in public when it has been 3+ days since I have been able to squeeze a shower in. Thank you for working so hard for our family, so that we are never without. Oh, and thank you for giving in and not caring if I purchase some new Ankle Booties for the fall (even though in the past, you have claimed for them to be “Hideous).

I love you Boo, and I’m sorry, but I wouldn’t be able to fit all of this in a Hallmark card anyway. šŸ™‚
